In this course, we help prospective and current renters and homeowners navigate the process of buying a home all the way from decision to securing a mortgage. Buying a home can be stressful, confusing, and rife with new language and emotions. We break it all down to help you feel more confident and prepared when making what will probably be the single largest purchasing decision of your life.

What you'll learn

In lesson 1 we dig into what you should consider when determining if you should rent or buy a home, we’ll talk about the most important factors to consider – including your own personal situation (both emotional and financial), as well as how to incorporate market conditions. Lesson 2 is all about mortgages – we go through how they work, the most important things to look out for, vocabulary words that you need to know before speaking to a mortgage advisor, and what you need before taking one out.
